There are many ways of joining the two materials together. One of them is ultrasonic welding (gluing). It is a comparatively new technology. The biggest advantages are speed and quality. Fusion time is counted in tenths of a second and the quality is guaranteed by the state-of-art technologies. This welding method is mostly for industrial and serial production applications.
 About 90 percent of all plastic materials can be welded when applying this method. Both spot and seam welding is performed without any additives. This means guaranteed quality at no additional expenses.
